Sendamap is a geographic communication tool that allows users to pinpoint their location on a global map, represented by an emoji. This visual indicator can be used as a conversational cue to share your whereabouts with friends.

When you select the emoji on the map, you are prompted to compose a message for your contact. After writing your message, simply press the "send" button to transmit the combined message, emoji, and map all at once.

A new interface window then appears, offering a selection of communication channels such as WhatsApp, Messenger, email, or SMS. You can choose the most suitable app and select your contact from your existing contact list, facilitating seamless message delivery.

One of the notable features of Sendamap is its accessibility; recipients do not need to have the application installed on their devices to receive messages and map updates, which broadens usability and convenience.

The platform supports multiple emojis for expressing different locations or statuses, enhancing personalization and engagement.

Additionally, Sendamap allows users to search for specific places, shops, or restaurants on the map. A compass icon can be activated to indicate the direction toward these locations or toward friends’ positions when clicked.

Once a location or emoji is received, users can interact with it by sending immediate replies, obtaining directional information via the compass icon, or initiating navigation through Google Maps in a separate browser window.

Personalization options include selecting a unique avatar emoji in the settings menu and assigning a name to it. This personalized emoji will then appear on friends’ screens upon message receipt.
